2. About Clue & This Policy
Clue Dental is the brand of Clue Dental Marketing Inc., an Illinois company. “Clue,” “we” and “our” refer to that company.
This policy covers cluedental.com. The site is intended for adults in the dental business. It is not directed to anyone under 18.
Clue is not a dental office and does not see patients.
When we handle client or patient information for a dental practice as its service provider or processor, we act under written contracts and the practice’s instructions. That work is outside this policy. Patients should contact their dental practice about their information.
3. Requesting Information
Our “Request Information” form requires your name, email address and message. Your phone number, practice name and website are optional.
We use this information to respond to your request and communicate with you about it.
An email delivery provider sends your submission to Clue’s inbox. The website does not save submissions in a database. Messages may remain in email systems and provider records.
If you arrived through a Google Ads click, the form may read Google’s ad-click cookie only to identify your request as coming from an ad.
4. Using AI Chat
When you send a message, our chat service receives it and the conversation so far. The service is hosted on Cloudflare. It sends the conversation and public website content to an AI model provider, currently OpenAI, to generate an answer.
Our chat service does not save conversations in a database or log message text. Your browser keeps the conversation for the session and clears that copy when the tab closes.
Cloudflare and OpenAI process messages under their applicable terms and may keep records under those terms.
AI answers can be wrong. Do not send health information, login details or other sensitive information.
5. Browsing the Site
Our web host keeps ordinary server logs. These may include your IP address, browser details, requested pages and request times. These records support site operation and security.
Every page loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. Google receives your IP address and browser details when fonts load.
The site uses HTTPS to encrypt information sent between your browser and our server. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.
Videos are self-hosted. The site has no social media embeds, maps or third-party video players.
6. Cookies & Browser Choices
Clue’s own code does not set cookies. Features provided by others may use them as described here.
The accessibility toolbar remembers display choices in browser storage, with a cookie as a fallback. The site stores your pause motion choice in browser storage. The request form may read Google’s ad-click cookie as described above.
You can manage cookies and stored site data through your browser settings. Clearing stored data may reset your display choices.
7. Analytics
We may use Google Analytics to understand site traffic. When we do, Google receives page views, device and browser details, and information about how visitors move through the site. Google uses IP addresses to estimate approximate location. Clue receives aggregate traffic reports.
If we use Google Analytics, its advertising features are disabled. The site has no advertising pixels or remarketing tags.
You can use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on in supported browsers. You can also block cookies through browser settings, although blocking cookies alone may not stop analytics data from being sent.
8. Providers, Disclosure & Retention
Information reaches providers that operate our website, email, chat, fonts and analytics, when used. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. This means advertising based on someone’s activity across different businesses’ websites or services.
Form messages may remain in Clue’s email records. Our host keeps server logs. Providers may retain delivery, technical or processing records. Retention varies by record and provider.
The website is hosted in the United States. Providers may process information in other countries.
9. Health Information
This website is not designed to collect or store protected health information.
Do not submit patient records, symptoms, treatment details or other health information through the form or chat. Do not submit another person’s personal information.
Patients should contact their dental practice directly.
10. Privacy Requests
Email info@cluedentalmarketing.com to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information.
We verify identity as appropriate and respond as the law requires. Some information may need to be retained to meet legal requirements.
Depending on applicable law, you may have additional rights, including receiving a copy of your information or appealing a decision. Use the same email address to ask about those rights or submit an appeal.
We will explain any limits on your request as the law requires.
11. Changes & Contact
We will post policy changes on this page and update the date above. We will provide any additional notice the law requires.
For privacy questions, email info@cluedentalmarketing.com or use the site’s Request Information page.
